Our Approach to Counseling
All of us have been broken or wounded at some point in our lives. When this happens, it can be difficult sometimes to get back on track. Our goal is to help you walk in wellness. Our focus is you!
We feel it is important to engage with you, and in your story. We will work diligently with you to understand where you are in life , and how life experiences have impacted your journey. Struggles are often symptomatic of a deeper story. Our goal is to walk with you to a refreshing place of awareness , strength and healing. Our blended clinical approaches to wellness include; motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and more.
We are trained professionally to walk with you from a single scope therapeutic lens, or, a comprehensive lens which includes a Christian faith perspective. The decision of which lens to use is totally up to you. We realize that not all counseling is created equal. Much of what you receive in a counseling session is based on building a relationship of trust and good rapport with your counselor or therapist. It is our commitment to support you, to be present, and fully engaged as you do your work to walk in wellness.
